I’m Dolo, originally from the French‑speaking part of Switzerland, now enjoying life in colorful Colorado. I’m also a proud mom of three amazing adult children who stayed in Switzerland — which means I finally get all the yarn to myself!
Crochet is my meditation, my happy place, and sometimes my excuse for “just one more skein of yarn.” I love playing with colors, soft textures, and fun designs that bring joy and coziness. Each beanie, fanny pack is handmade with care, a little patience, and probably a few giggles along the way.

The Brand
Once upon a time, there was a girl from Switzerland with a heart beating to the rhythm of the Alps and a suitcase full of colors. When Dolo landed in Colorado, she felt something shift — a mix of vertigo, freedom, and that tiny spark whispering “okay… life is about to change.”
In the beginning, it was just a hook, a ball of yarn, and the urge to create something warm — not just for the body, but for the soul. One winter evening, in a living room that felt a little too quiet, she crocheted her very first beanie.
Not perfect. Not straight. Not meant to become a brand.
But it had a vibe. A vibe that said: “I’m handmade, I’m alive, I’m you.” Then came a second one. Then a third. Then someone said, “Wow, I love this — could you make one for me?”
And that’s when… BOOM. The tiny spark turned into fireworks.
HappybyDolo was born just like that:
Not in an office, not in a business plan, not in a marketing strategy. But in a moment of pure joy, creative chaos, overflowing colors, and hands telling a story with every stitch.
It’s a brand born between two worlds:
the Swiss heart — soft, precise, artisanal and the Colorado soul — free, bright, a little wild.
